Today was a wonderful Sunday filled with refreshing holiday spirit and family time. We were up bright and early, a little tough after our late night Ugly Christmas Sweater party....
Some how rolling out of bed this morning to a white snowy outdoors made everything feel Christmasy....at last! We made the journey out to the lake cabin and enjoyed our first Christmas (there will be four this year), played Apples to Apples, enjoyed nummy food and talk.
We received our first Christmas tree ornament today, a so so cool, little gingerbread-man Angel! There were so many heartfelt gifts, laughs, cheer and munchies. I sometimes forget to realize how truly lucky we are until this time of the year rolls around. We were so wrapped up in the fun we didn't notice how late the day had gotten. But we did fit in naps, Sons of Anarchy and game night with our friends.
