Beach Beauty
No one told us that Florida has a rainy season. We kinda had to learn this unfortunate news on our own. Remnants of tropical storms frequently blow into the coastal town of Port St. Lucie, which makes for more rain, lightening, thunder and cloud coverage than we ever imagined Florida was capable of! Although rumor has it that this has been the worst rainy season in decades. Today was a rare sunny day, so I unplugged my lap top, downloaded a new book on the Kindle Fire, packed the cooler with snacks and headed out to Jensen beach for a much needed relaxation day. It was absolutely gorgeous! Minus my sunburnt butt cheeks (and it's becoming pretty clear my fiancé has no intentions of letting me live them down)!
