Ten accomplishments from our first six months:
1) We traveled outside of the US together for the first time.
2) That trip was our second time flying on the same plane but our very first time flying together. (Last time, Kyle flew as a Cougar and had to sit with the team).
3) Kyle learned how to do laundry. It needed to happen. He even washed and packed all of our clothing for our cross country move when I was sick in bed.
4) We drove across the country together and it was rad.
5) We started Spring Training together for the first time. (Last season I joined Kyle once he received his assignment.)
6) We bought two cars together. Call me crazy but compromising and picking a car with someone you've been married to for less than 4 months is a little trying. Clearly, we're better people for it now. Don't tell Kyle that I'm already preparing my case for our first house.
7) We attended our first PAO conference together (Professional Athletes Outreach). Our marriage has been changing for the better every day since. I highly recommend PAO to couples involved in professional athletics.
8) We hosted our very first family Christmas at our borrowed cabin. It was amazing. And cooking for our huge family in a mini cabin kitchen was a perfect pre baseball season challenge.
9) We went on an impromptu retreat in the Montana wilderness to play in the Quinn hot springs.
10) He taught me to ice skate on the frozen lake Newman outside our cabin.

Happy six months smart, handsome husband of mine!
