Today marked the second off day of this season, and my husband had a surprise plan up his sleeve. A visit to Cooperstown, New York home of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. I don't even know what word would appropriately encapsulate my excitement for this special day with my husband!
The museum was, honest to goodness, just breath taking. There is so much history all under one roof! The very first Yankee's uniforms to Babe Ruth autographed balls, to the All American Girls Baseball League memorabilia, to photographs of accomplishments of recent players that we've had the honor of meeting in our travels. Just mind blowing. I'll need to visit at least five more times in my life to truly be able to take every last bit of it in.
