Please Help the Tornado Victims

I'm sure we are all aware of the series of over 200 tornadoes that tore through Dixie Alley last week. Thousands of homes were destroyed, and the death toll has now rose to 337 individuals. Fire stations, police departments and communication towers were reduced to rubble making the deployment of aid to those in need difficult to impossible. This is rumored to be the worst tornado out break in the past 37 years. Please help your fellow Americans, anything makes a difference

You can donate to Red Cross disaster relief online, by texting “REDCROSS” to 90999, which puts a $10 donation on your wireless bill, or by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS.

You can also donate to the Salvation Army, who have responded and are providing aid. Donate online, text “GIVE” to 80888 to make a $10 donation or call 1-800-SAL-ARMY. Be sure to designate that your donation is going to the April 2011 Tornado Outbreak.

Donations are also accepted through the Governors office page in Alabama. Although any aid is appreciated, consider donating to the above groups. Five states faced damage and deaths and the funds will be allotted to those in need in all.

This page is dedicated to funding those who leave their own families and homes to help with the relief effort. This funding and donation opprotunity is through DCH Foundation, Inc.

A church in Alabama is holding a supply drive. The school supplies will be used to help students complete their school term this year. 

These people faced total destruction, their homes are destroyed, their family members killed or injured, and many are left with out basic living supplies. Anything can help, just ten dollars can make a difference. It's a small effort that will go along way, please give back to your fellow Americans! You would want the same aid if your family was in this situation. Please, please give whatever you can to these people.
