We met Adam and Kendall at the Mobius Kids Museum this morning. It was so great to see them again, but so tough knowing why they were back from Florida so soon. They hung out with us for a bit and took a little mental break from everything they've been dealing with recently. I think in the process of grieving we occasionally forget to cherish life but these two, our dear friends, have incredible strength and faith and they were able to have some fun today. Addie absolutely loved the museum. It really shouldn't even be called a museum because everything was hands on and there was so much to do. We played at an 'erosion table' and built sand castles. We raced around a small town on plasma cars. We built water ways and sent boats, fish and seahorses on their way with the appropriate sound effects. We played the drums, thumped the bongos and shook the tambourine. We rode down the slide and made delicious food. And we threw a huge tantrum when it was time to leave....
This place was so crazy fun, and I'm sure it won't be the last time we go. We're already checking into getting a membership. And we were so so lucky to visit it for the first time with Auntie Kendall and Uncle Adam, who "plays baseball like my dad." Please send extra prayers their way.
