Day Two Hundred

My sweet sweet friend from Tempe arrived from Chicago today. Playing baseball has lead me to some of the most wonderful people from this fine country. Joanna got in and I freshened up from working and spinning, then we headed to the Boogaloo Cafe for appetizers and happy hour with the two other ladies in town, Ree and Kristen. We had a fantastic time talking life and sharing stories. Only other baseball girls really understand this lifestyle so these kinda if events are like therapy to us all. Therapy with tacos, pizza and blue moon! The Cafe is across the road from the field so we headed right over at game time. After almost two innings the game was called due to the light rain so we took cover under the canopy before the horrible down pour and wind set in. I have honest to goodness never seen anything like it! The stadium was screeching, the wind howled and I was soaked in the 40 foot walk to get the car. SOAKED, like my white pants turned to see through pants and my hair was plastered to my head! The game was called but the boys still got a fantastic work out sprinting to their cars from the locker room.
