Day Three Hundred and Forty Two

Another busy day for the Johnson's, surprise! Today was Premier Sports' open house where Kyle coaches and trains kids in the off season. Kyle planned some awesome new things this season to lead at the non profit facility including a class for parents where he presents on what to expect during college and professional recruitment. He's also orchestrating a weekly speed and agility training session. Watching how excited he gets about these types of things is so heart warming and satisfying. For me, it's a huge reassurance to see my husband thoroughly enjoying himself with a job outside of professional baseball. Baseball won't last forever, and we know that.

On the way to the open house! Being a professional athletes wife rocks; wearing tennis shoes and a ball cap to any function is a winner in my book!

Kyle talking with a client. Parents choose coaches they think would provide the best training to their child.

After our open house we headed over to our sweet friend Sam's house for games, pumpkin carving and football with friends. Introducing tonight's chefs! Sam made mummy dogs, a pumpkin cheese ball, chili, caramel apples and scarrrrry rice crispies. I lent a hand with smoked salmon dip.

And say hello to some of the talented pumpkin carvers!
