Stretched my husband out with a feisty game of catch.

Drove the Mazda through the I-10 median and on to a nearby highway. (The traffic was dead still and the highway was backed up for miles so we hopped off with the jacked up 4x4's and saved ourselves a good two hour wait).

Baton Rouge.

Found a parking spot with in a mile of Bourbon Street in New Orleans.
Check.
Enjoyed a delicious dinner of traditional southern Cajun jumbalya pasta and Louisiana crab cakes on the infamous Bourbon Street.
Check.
Spent a wonderful day with my valentine for the 4th year.
