Samantha did not bring any of the gorgeous Pacific Northwest sunshine we all know and love with her to dreary ol' Binghamton. We woke up to skies of clouds, and buckets of rain this morning. When Kyle got to the field, this sign was posted on his locker. A long standing joke this season with the local press and B-Mets staff revolves around Nascar driver, Kyle Johnson.

Sam and I went for a hike at the local state park and then buzzed over to the field. As soon as we found our seats high under the sheltered pavilion the clouds began to dump. Like Niagara Falls....I can say that now. The tarp was on the field but water cascaded off of the tarp and began flooding over the edge of the dug outs. The field crew tried to siphon it out and we all waited for the inevitable call. Below are the photos of the flossed batting cage and the dug out from Kyle. The locker room also began to fill up with run off from the field! The final photo is of the special jerseys for tonight's game...they never made it to the field.
