My in season motto, 'off days are the best days,' rang true again today. I finally made it to the post office to ship off our packages. And we were pleasantly surprised to pick up a huge envelope in the mail. Check out this mega cute card that Addie's teachers helped her make and send to us! It's literally a good foot and a half high and the same wide. This is definitely not what we had in mind when her teacher said she was working on a "baseball card," and dying to send it. We are so, so appreciative of her teachers and daycare staff, especially during the season.
In the early afternoon, we headed over to our local friends' home to swim and relax by the pool. Max, an absolute doll that I babysit, has been dying for Kyle to come over and play baseball with him. So after we got our pool time out of the way, these two worked on their under hand pitches and big swings. Can you say adorable?!
To top the day off, we gathered with a few of our friends at the team chaplain and his wife's home. Thank you so much Tom and Sharon for cooking for us and having us over. We sure appreciate you guys!
