Second Season: Day 233

We had a super busy day today, full of rush, rush, rush. Rush days kick my butt, and cause my patience to wane. Eeep. Fortunately we fit in some time to see Adelyn's grandma Chris and to play at the new park down town. (I still don't quite understand why McEuen Field had to go for that grassy field, but that's a post for another time!) Thank goodness for this relaxing view in the evening on our way to dinner at Embers in Lake Hauser. We'd never been to Embers before, and Adelyn's Grandma Jody and Papa Tony decided it was time for us to give it a whirl! The son of the couple who own Embers is a friend we know from college. He and Kyle used to play football together in high school too. It was great to see them and the restaurant that they've put so much hard work in to! And they even serve gluten free pizza!! Nummmy!
